6,5 Carcano (6,5x52 Ordinanza Italiana)

 

Detta anche cartuccia d'ordinanza '91 adottata nei fucili d'ordinanza Mannlicher-Carcano del 1891, arma della Mannlicher e sistema di chiusura Carcano, unico ad avere rigatura progressiva. La munizione nasce da un progetto tutto Italiano firmato Pirotecnico di Bologna. La classica munizione militare "del '91" si riconosce per il tipico proiettile nichelato color argento, trattenuto nel colletto da una crimpatura anulare, aveva carica di balistite a cubetti di 30,1 grani ed era tenuta in sede da un batuffolo di cotone. Nel 1895 necque l'incavo del fondello tipico di questa e altre munizioni Italiane, serviva a garantire la tenuta dell'innesco, lo spostamento del metallo durante la stampatura, bloccava l'innesco definitivamente. Dopo il 1900 la carica divenne di solenite a tubetti e la crimpatura era eseguita con tre punzonature al colletto. La munizione e l'arma è ricercata un po' ovunque in tutto il mondo, ottima per la caccia al daino e selvatici simili ha avuto buon successo in Italia dopo la liberalizzazione della munizione ritenuta da guerra.
